The colors in this convienant compact are very vivid. A small mirror is placed behind the applicator, but it serves no purpose becuase the darn thing is too small to see one eye! Applying the eyeshadow was a pain, and a complete waste of time. I had to apply primer + powder foundation to make this eyeshadow stick to my lid. On top of that, I had to coat the eyeshadow about 5 times to get the color that I desired. Not to mention, this eyeshadow came with the cursed "streaky line" appeal. The compacts are enough for just a month's use, also adding the fact that if you drop this compact, the pressed powder will literally crack back up into dust. What a waste! But alas, this is what you get for one buck.
Pros:Nice color Selection. Cons:The eyeshadow formula was very low quality.
I bought two shades of this product luxe and Ivy . They are great. The last all day have great pigmenation, and go on very smooth. They do crease after a while, so I'd reccomend a primer, but it's nothing major.
Pros:nice variety of shades, cheap, long lasting Cons:some creasing.
These eyeshadows do not have much pigmentation, so if you are looking for bright, vibrant colors that show up well, do not buy ELF shadows.
However, these shadows are great for light, neutral looks. I especially like the little quads- 4 shades for $1. I bought Butternut, Pretty N Pink and Nouveau Neautrals quads. They are also pretty tiny, but the e/s brush does fit in there.
Pros:Good for natural looks or if you dont want a dark shadow on Cons:No pigmentation
This eyeshadow is a pretty color and also it gives a glittery shine to your eyes. However, some of the shadow can fall into your lashes, which got annoying. Maybe it is better when used with an eyeshadow brush which I forgot to purchase. Overall, nice color.
I ordered a bunch of stuff from the E.L.F. website, including custom eye compacts, lip glosses, & this eye shadow combo. For the price, I am more than pleased. This combo includes two light highlighting shades, a sparkly copper, & a sparkly expresso brown. Yes, the pigmentation is not that of some brands, & the packaging is not deluxe. Plus, the size of each shadow is a little small. But really, how often do we really use all of a shadow? (Okay, occasionally I do use all of a product, including a shadow, but not very often.) Nevertheless, I am reporting favorably on this product for two big reasons: 1. the color stays true & stays on my eye all day, 2. there is no flaking into my contacts. Plus, I've been looking for a good expresso-brown color for the smoky eye effect & this is the best one I've found yet!
Overall, I like everything that I got. My only comment is that the pigmentation is not dense. However, it's creating the effect that I want!
Pros:very inexpensive, good color combinations, small package good for my travel kit, stays on all day, doesn't flake Cons:pigmentation not dense. Requires tapping off brush. Packaging not deluxe, but entirely adequate.

Cashmere
(picture does not reflect color described below):
These eye shadows are great for children, but the performance is cheap (yep another $1.00 item stocking stuffer for the girls). The color is not highly pigmented. The 4 colors are a gold, orange, lilac and a plum. These are a cornsilk formula, so if you are irritated by cornsilk, this is not for you. Poor performance, but great dollar gift for kids.
I would never purchase this for myself, but may purchase for my children for play makeup.
Pros:cheap, 4 shades in palette Cons:cheap, low pigmentation, doesn't apply well
This is a small e/s quad. I bought it online and the plastic was broken and it wouldn't close when I received it. The colors have a nice shimmer to them but the colors looked more like blush shades to me so I didn't like them on my lids.
This eye shadow set consists of 4 silvery, purpley shades that look quite pretty in the compact. They're very sparkly. However when applied they disapponted. The formula is very poorly pigmented and the powder is messy and dry, it doesn't adhere to the eyelid and it just flakes everywhere. I liked this shade set better than some of the others, because the colors actually show up a little. But I still wouldn't waste your dollar on it. It's a typical cheesy, cheap product.
This eye shadow set consists of 4 neutral shades. They look nice in the compact...but that's all the good I can say. These shadows are very poorly pigmented, the powder is very dry and just goes everywhere you don't want it. You know how it is, you stroke your brush across the surface, and a ton of it comes up and makes a mess. Typical cheap product (in cost and quality). The colors barely even show up. Don't waste even one dollar on this! There are other shade sets, I was going to review them seperately, but the colors don't show up so there's no point.

Pros: Cons:Poorly pigmented color barely shows. Messy, flaky powder doesn't adhere to eyelid.
