I love NYX.  It is inexpensive and offers and array of awesome, well pigmented colors.  It is just as good as MAC but for a fraction of the price.

Eyeshadow pencils are so convenient. Pigmented color and so easy to blend. this color is really nice against my brown skin. Highly recommended

This is a review for the powder compact with the swiveling mirror. I got this for free from a friend brand new and I really loved it. When you take it out of the box, it comes inside a blace lace pouch which is really cute. I don't necessarily use it but I did store it for later.  When you first open it, you'll notice that the mirror swivels at a 360 degree circle.  I've read that some people hate it and find it useless but I've found to love it. Many times when I do my makeup and only have the mirror, the applicator (which ,btw, is a square sponge) that comes in the compact will fall out. This way, I can swivel the mirror and close it so that the mirror is on the outside with no worries.  The compact is closed by a magnet so that's a plus. I don't like having to deal with compacts that you have to pop open as when carry those in your purse they sometimes break and then you can't carry them anymore.

 

NYX Cosmetics online says it's suppose to provide coverage but the only coverage I've obtained from this is a matte even toned skin. It does not conceal as the box states but who would expect that from a powder compact. It's like they had two different groups trying to decide how to sell this product and they just put anything on the label. 

 

The actual powder has a scent to it. It's not unpleasant but different so those who don't like scented makeup will hate it. It reminds me of the smell some lipsticks have.  The powder is very light to medium coverage in terms of evening you skintone. It's not heavy and very easily blendable so you can use it lightly or heavily, whichever you prefer and it can look quite natural as well imo.  It doesn't sit on your face like a thick powder does or get cakey as long as you blend it well. With this powder you don't need much and that's always a plus.

 

I think the only bad thing about this is the price which retails for $25.00 dollars. And about the only way to get is is by purchasing it through NYX online.  Many places like cherry culture still don't sell the powders and NYX is not always easily found at most drugstores.

Okay, this are pretty big as far as containers go for eyeshadows. The color is what a purple color should look like but the consistency was really crappy. It was not very buttery like they NYX singles at all. The other pearl eyeshadows are really good but this was the one color that did not want to blend for anything. I even tried putting a primer underneath and it just didn't want to work (i used udpp).

This is a very pretty blush. It's a very natural, glowy pink. It's nicely pigmented, and the glow doesn't look glittery. It blends smoothly. It does not come with a brush. It doesn't have a perfume smell, or any odd smells to it. The color lasts me all day. I would definitely repurchase this blush.

Talk about a pigmented blush! A little goes a long way, so apply lightly and then build on the color if you need to. It's definitely more of a peachy blush(despite it looking quite orange in the package). It does not come packaged with a brush, so you will need your own blush brush. It lasts all day without fading. It has a bit of glow, but doesn't look glittery on me. It doesn't have a perfume smell, or much of a smell at all for that matter. Definitely would repurchase this.

I love these colors, they show up so well. Don't have to apply as many times as other stuff. Not too expensive. 

I had high hopes for this, since I love everything I have tried from NYX so far. I was very disappointed. The packaging is cute, but there is not much else I can say positive about this. First off the wand is quite big. Probably twice as long as the wand from Cover Girl's Volume Exact brush. It's wider on the ends than it is in the middle, and I find that makes it more difficult to maneuver. The mascara itself seems thick, and it makes my lashes clump up like crazy. It also weighs them down, and pulls the curl out of them. I didn't think they made my lashes look longer at all, though I think they looked a little thicker. That might be because of the clumping though. It did last me all day, and gave my lashes a deep black color. Overall I think this is a very poor product. I would not recommend it and will not be repurchasing it.

I have light to medium skin with yellow under tones and this is the perfect shade for me. The consistency almost reminds me of a lotion. It has a light perfume-y smell, which isn't bad but I prefer unscented makeup. It comes in a bottle that has a pump, which I love because it keeps the product in the bottle from getting contaminated. The bottle is plastic, and I would prefer glass but really that doesn't matter. It does an excellent job of evening out my skin. It's very light, and I can't even tell I am wearing it. It does wear off a bit in my oily areas(typical of oily skin and liquid foundations), but I just wear some Neutrogena Dry Touch sunscreen as a mattifier and my problem is solved! Then it lasts all day. It doesn't settle into my fine lines or pores at all. In fact my skin looks very smooth when I wear it. I would consider this a medium to full coverage foundation. I use less than one full pump of product for my entire face. I have been wearing this for quite some time now, and I have not had a single breakout. And I have acne prone skin! I couldn't find any swatches online that look close to what the product looks like in person. On my screen the picture I took above clearly depicts the shade. I set my foundation with my EDM finishing powder, and it worked just fine. I would definitely repurchase this. It's my new favorite foundation!

I´m reviewing this in the shade "Penny". It´s a very vibrant color and looks beautiful with my blue eyes. I´d imagine it would look very hot with brown eyes as well. 

I love this gloss. It's a warm golden nude with lots of shine and shimmer. A little goes a long way. The pigmentation is excellent. It's non sticky(except for when the product has almost worn off) and lasts hours. It comes with an angled sponge tip applicator. It has a cherry scent/taste that quickly wears off(I don't happen to like it). My lips look very sexy when I wear this gloss. Definite repurchase.

I am so in love with this gloss! It's a lovely wash of pink that really does have mega shine. It has a bit of a cherry smell/taste that I don't care for, but it does fade quickly. It comes with an angled sponge tip applicator. You don't need much of it either. It lasts quite a long time! I have never had a gloss that lasts hours before. I don't think it feels sticky, except for when it finally does wear off(when there is very little product left it feels only slightly sticky). I will definitely be repurchasing this and other colors.

Almost an exact match to the swatch on the website, except it is shimmery. It is bright and the gold shimmer makes it a really pretty color. Very intense pink!
